The project was born in 1998, by InqUesT and Blackend under the name "Morbid Mind" with eagerness to experiment and focused on electro-industrial sounds; they self-produced some tapes that are distributed among their circle of friends, without a major impact.
In 2003 already as a solo member and with renewed forces, InqUesT gives a new course to the project by changing the name to "Larva" due to the technical, social and ideological changes of the lineup, getting involved in social topics and with a more powerful sound, more noises and hardness and without losing a bit their darkness.
In early 2006 the formation had enriched by the contribution of two more members (M.L. and Anoxia) who provided to their compositions a major diversity and more strength to the live shows. The first record label comes with "Diogenes Syndrome" from Komblok Records, which distributes the album in digipak format in USA and Europe.
The year 2007 starts with the new self-produced album "Autosectarismo". In 2008 Larva signs to Advoxya Records, releasing "Voces del laberinto", masterized by Jan (X-Fusion, Noisuf-X). The CD also includes two video clips as a bonus tracks.
In 2009 Larva releases under Advoxya Records their fourth CD entitled "The hated". After this, the band begins "The Hated Mexican Tour 09" in diverse Mexican cities such as Mexico D.F., Puebla, Toluca, Tehuacan, Tijuana, etc. Due to this successful tour a second Mexican Tour is planned for the year 2010.
On the other hand, Alfa-Matrix releases the compilation "Endzeit Bunkertracks V" including the Larva's song "Come with me". In addition, Larva remixes Unter Null in their new CD "Moving on". The launch of the most recent Larva's album "Entre agujas" is going to be released by June 2010, with the collaboration of various remixes from bands like Asseptic Room, Tech Nomader, Extinction Front, Deadjump, among others.
